Abia Gov., Ikpeazu to commission more road projects, Friday

ABIA, Nigeria – Governor Okezie Ikpeazu will on Friday, 22nd December, 2021, commission some road projects executed by his administration.

A statement by the state Commissioner for Information, John Okiyi Kalu, said Gov Ikpeazu will commission the projects in company of His Eminence, Nzie Nzi Eke, Prelate and Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria,

The roads to be commissioned in continuation of the Governor’s statewide project inspection and commissioning program tagged “Kinetic Abia Tours includes;

1. Reconstruction of Eziukwu Road, Aba South LGA

2. Reconstruction of Milverton Avenue, Aba South LGA

3. Reconstruction of Ojike Lane, Aba South LGA

Based on the above, the following are hereby invited to accompany the Governor who will also inspect other ongoing projects in the state:

The Governor therefore invited the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt Hon Ude Oko Chukwu, members of the State Executive Council, the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chinedum Orji and members of Abia State House of Assembly, State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rt Hon Asiforo Okere and members of the state working committee to
inspect other ongoing projects in the state.

He also invited members of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Abia State Chapter, led by Mr Michael Ibe, members of Abia State Traditional Rulers Council led by Eze Joseph Nwabekee, Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Abia State Chapter, and other clergymen in the state, Presidents of Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ACCIMA), Aba Sports Club and Chairman of Aba Landlords Association and Leaders of civil society organizations in the state to inspect the project.
