Tottenham demolish Man Utd 6-1 at Old Trafford

ENGLAND – Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho had the last laugh against his former team Manchester United after securing a 6-1 mauling of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Spurs went behind earlier in the game courtesy a penalty kick after Anthony Martial was tripped by Davidson Sanchez.

Regular penalty taker, Bruno Fernandes stepped up to give the Reds the first laugh in the game.

The smiles were quickly wiped off the home side’s faces after few minutes when a defensive error by Harry Maguire allowed Tanguay Ndombele slot in the equalizer two minutes after.

Three minutes after Son grabbed his first of the night in the seventh minute after a quick play from skipper Harry Kane.

Manchester United’s woes were compounded after Anthony Martial was sent off for retaliation against Son Heung Min and moments after United were torn apart.

The shambolic defending from Maguire and Eric Bailly soon showed as the Ivorian lost composure to give away a sloppy pass inside the box 18 to allow Kane grab his first for the night, making it 3-0

Son git on the mark again to make it 4-0 before half-time making it difficult for the home side to dream of a comeback.

Things soon got worse in the second half for Ole’s men as Serge Aurier netted Spur’s fifth in the 51st minute.

Paul Pogba gave away a penalty on the 79th minute and David De Gea was unable to stop Kane from bagging his second to put Jose’s men 6-1 as the dreams turned in to a nightmare for the home side.
