KADUNA, Nigeria – The State government has confirmed it recorded 10 new cases of COVID-19 in the State.
Recall that in the 245 figures released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday night, Kaduna State had 10 cases.
The latest figure has increased the total number recorded in the state to 179.
Confirming the development, Governor Nasir El-rufai on Twitter said the patients were contacts from cases in some LGAs.
He wrote, “ Two patients were discharged today, but 10 more persons have tested positive.
“All the new cases are contacts from cases in Chikun, Kaduna North and Sabon-Gari LGAs.”
