Abuja records 11 new cases of coronavirus, discharge of 14 patients

ABUJA, Nigeria – The Federal Capital Territory has confirmed that 11 new cases of coronavirus disease were recorded in Abuja.


The confirmation was made by the FCTA in a tweet via its Twitter account on Friday.

The Administration also said that 14 coronavirus patients have been discharged following full recovery from the virus.

The tweet reads “11 new COVID19 cases,14 discharged In the FCT.

“Summary of COVID19 cases in FCT as at May 21st, 2020.

“The total number of confirmed cases: 447

“Total number of active cases: 307

“133 patients have been discharged with 7 deaths recorded.

“Residents are urged to take preventive measures seriously.”
