Armed Forces Day: What Atiku said about Nigerian fallen soldiers

ABUJA, Nigeria – Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President, has felicitated with fallen soldiers in celebration of Armed forces remembrance day.


On January 15, Nigeria marks the celebration of Armed Forces Remembrance Day, a day to appreciate and celebrate fallen heroes and our men and women in the military, who work round the clock to keep the nation safe.

Atiku in his message on Wednesday prayed that the sacrifices of fallen soldiers may not be in vain in Nigeria.

He offered his prayers and support to the families of fallen soldiers.

On his Twitter page, Atiku wrote: “As always, I remember our fallen heroes who gave their lives for our nation. I remain grateful and indebted for their service and sacrifice.

“My thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends. May their sacrifices never be in vain.”
