ACCRA, Nigeria – Today Suzzy’s mother spoke out after 14 years the 23 year- old was a buddying well-known, talented and beautiful actress lost her life after experiencing a freak road accident.
On 8th September, Suzzy Williams family did not hear good news after she was involved in a car crash in Accra.
At the time, we were made to believe she died as a result of the severity of the injuries she incurred.
However, according to her mother Cecilia Williams, Suzzy Williams could have still been saved.
According to Cecilia, when she went to the hospital where her daughter was on admission 14 years ago, Suzzy Williams was still alive when she got there.
“I checked her pulse and the heartbeat, it was ok,” Cecilia told Stacey Amoateng in an interview.
However, after a doctor performed a procedure on Suzzy Williams that ended her life, Cecilia claims the doctor told her that was the only solution.
“I can never ever forget it… The doctor said this way is better, once and for all, after all, if she survives she will be a burden on you,” Cecilia told Stacey in the interview.
Suzzy Williams starred in films such as Bloody Mary, Calamity, The Comforter and Mother’s Heart. Her career as an actress was launched through the African hit film Together Forever, with a screenplay by US-based Ghanaian producer and screenwriter Leila Djansi.
She attended Tema Secondary School, where she was a member of the drama group and both sang in entertainment programmes and acted plays.
