GOMA, Congo – A passengers plane with about 17 passengers on board Sunday crashed in the city of Goma in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
The office of the provincial governor confirmed the crash.
It was learnt that the plane crash resulted in several deaths.
The plane, operated by the company Busy Bee, crashed during takeoff for a flight to the city of Beni, North Kivu, Reuters reports.
As at time of this report, the number of fatalities was not yet clear.
