With an estimated net worth of $740 million and climbing, this rapper extraordinaire proves there’s no such thing as too much money. In honor of Diddy’s half-century birthday, Wonderwall.com is taking a look at the richest hip-hop stars today.

Keep reading to find out who’s on the list…

Not only is JAY-Z the luckiest man alive — he’s married to Beyonce, a goddess on earth. He’s also the richest rap artist in the world. In 2019, Forbes listed Jay’s net worth at over $1 billion (he earned an impressive $81 million alone this year), making him the first in hip-hop history to achieve such wealth. Jay’s money comes from a variety of ventures including his stake in Uber, his D’Ussé cognac label, his Roc-a-Fella Records label, his Roc Nation entertainment company, his Tidal music-streaming service and his 2019 partnership with the NFL. Combined with Beyonce’s gigantic empire, Jay’s actual net worth is likely closer to $1.5 billion.

Although Dr. Dre declared he was a billionaire in 2014, Forbes estimates his actual net worth is closer to $800 million. The rapper-turned-record producer and business mogul made bank in 2014 when Apple bought his famous headphone line, Beats by Dre, for a reported $3 billion. Unfortunately, at the time of the sale, Dre reportedly only had 20 to 25 percent stake in the company, making his payout around $500 million. Still, not too shabby.

Love him or hate him, there’s no denying Kanye West’s pockets are deep. In 2019 alone, Kanye reportedly earned a staggering $150 million, nearly twice what JAY-Z managed to take home, making his estimated net worth somewhere in the field of $240 million. In addition to his music — including his ninth studio album “Jesus is King,” which dropped on Oct. 25 — the rapper’s most lucrative side hustle is his popular shoe line, Yeezy, which Forbes predicts will hit $1.5 billion in sales in 2019.

All but two of Eminem’s 10 studio albums have hit No. 1, and he earned a paycheck of nearly $5 million per show, so it’s easy to see why this Detroit-based rapper is rolling in dough. His estimated net worth is between $100 and $190 million, and he managed to bring in nearly $50 million (before taxes) in 2019, meaning his massive empire is only growing.

By his early 30s, Drake has already risen to a level most hip-hop stars can only dream about. Forbes estimated the Toronto-based rapper’s net worth at a cool $150 million in 2019, thanks to 2019 earnings of about $75 million, which came courtesy of his $2 million-per-show fee, lucrative real estate deals, a high-end whiskey label and a $25 million Las Vegas residency deal.

While it’s impossible to know exactly how much Lil Wayne has in the bank, we do know his lucrative endorsement deals with companies like Samsung, Sprint and Mountain Dew, plus his two clothing lines, 11 No. 1 hip-hop and rap albums, Young Money Entertainment record label and roster of top-selling artists (like Drake and Nicki Minaj) have this rapper set for life. In addition to his various revenue streams, Wayne reportedly earns upwards of $600,000 per show and has maintained a near-constant touring schedule, bringing him millions each year.

Cash Money Records CEO and rapper Birdman built his massive wealth with his eye for talent. After signing a young Lil Wayne in the ’90s, Birdman was able to turn his record label into an empire that spawned the careers of some of the biggest names in hip hop including Weezy’s proteges Drake and Nicki Minaj. To date, Birdman — who famously feuded with Lil Wayne between 2014 to 2018 before they set their differences aside — is estimated to have a net worth between $80 and $110 million, and he made a reported $19.7 million in 2019 alone.

With a reported net worth in the $135 million to $150 million range, Snoop Dogg is easily one of hip-hop’s richest stars. Not only does the funkadelic rapper continue to release new music — including his 2019 album “I Wanna Thank Me” — but he’s continued to act in projects including “The Addams Family” and “Dolemite is My Name” and host the show “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Party Challenge.”

Nicki Minaj one of only two women to make this list, isn’t just the reigning queen of hip-hop — she’s also one of the richest in the game. The “Barbie Dreamz” rapper has an estimated net worth of $85 million and reportedly earned almost $30 million in 2019 alone. She also commands upward of $500,000 per performance. It doesn’t hurt that Nicki’s also got five platinum-selling albums and has collaborated on more tracks with other artists than we can count — all of which have kept her flush with cash.

Like most of the hip-hop artists on our list, social media star and production mastermind DJ Khaled got rich in a variety ways. From his 11 top-selling albums (including 2019’s “Father of Asahd,” which shot to No. 1 on the U.S. R&B, hip-hop and rap charts) and many collaborations with artists like JAY-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Nipsey Hussle and SZA to his high-paying endorsement deals with companies like Apple, T-Mobile and Weight Watchers, Khaled has money coming in from all directions. His net worth is estimated at $35 million, with Forbes listing his 2019 earnings at a whopping $40 million.

While he might have split from billionaire girlfriend Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott definitely won’t need to ask her for a loan. The “Sicko Mode” rapper has an estimated net worth of $40 million plus an endorsement deal with Nike, a successful merchandise line and a lucrative tour history, which all together helped him earn a reported $58 million in 2019.

Cardi B, the second woman on our list, has long focused on making that “shmoney.” Although her net worth is estimated at between just $8 million and $12 million, she’s only a few years into her career, and reportedly earned nearly $28 million in 2019 thanks to her $300,000 per-show fee, endorsement deals with Amazon Alexa, Pepsi and Fashion Nova and her platinum-selling 2018 album “Invasion of Privacy.”

While some reports suggest Donald Glover, who’s known on the hip-hop stage as Childish Gambino, has an estimated net worth of $12 million and earned $35 million in 2019, it’s actually hard to tell how much money he’s made through his multitude of career paths. Here’s what we do know: Along with creating and starring in the Emmy-winning series “Atlanta,” Donald’s 2016 album “Awaken My Love” was certified platinum and his 2018 single “This is America” shot to No. 1 in the U.S., Canada and New Zealand. He also voiced Simba in the wildly successful $1.6 billion-grossing 2019 remake of “The Lion King” and contributed to the soundtrack, meaning it’s likely Donald has made a lot of money over the last few years.

The secret to Latin hip-hop star Pitbull’s wealth is simple: touring. The “I Know You Want Me” rappereeportedly commands upwards of $200,000 per appearance and has made the bulk of his estimated $65 million empire with sold-out performances. His top-selling albums, endorsement deals with companies like Kodak, Pepsi and Norwegian Cruise Lines as well as his own vodka and clothing lines all helped contribute to his estimated $17 million in earnings in 2019.

Future’s financial outlook is definitely green. The “Mask Off” rapper has an estimated $30 million net worth, three No. 1 albums and a highly anticipated new album on the horizon, all helping him build a plush empire. The rapper, who earns an estimated $150,000 to $200,000 per show, reportedly grossed almost $20 million in 2019 while on tour.

2019 brought Grammy-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar a reported payday of more than $26 million. The “Humble” rapper reportedly commands between $500,000 and $1 million per show and has sold more than 3 million records since his debut in 2011, which explains why his estimated net worth is near $40 million and climbing.

Even a five month prison stint for parole violations didn’t stop Meek Mill from making bank. After gaining his freedom in April 2018, Meek released the No. 1 album “Championships” and the EP “Legends of the Summer” before kicking off his 2019 “Legendary Nights” tour with Future. Forbes estimates that Meek earned more than $21 million in 2019, more than double what he earned the previous year.
