ENGLAND – Nigeria-eligible striker Ademipo Odubeko netted once for West Ham United U18 team as they beat Swansea City 8-2 in the U18 Premier League on Saturday.

The highly-coveted teenager ended speculation about his future by inking a deal with West Ham on Friday.

Ten minutes into his debut for the Hammers, Odubeko doubled West Ham’s advantage.

The Republic of Ireland youth-teamer is lacking match fitness having just arrived at the London club, so had to be replaced at half-time.

Odubeko also scored on his first game for Manchester United in the U18 Premier League in February 2019.

Last season, the 17-year-old scored a staggering 35 goals for Manchester United youth teams.

Another player of Nigerian descent, Joshua Okocha started for the Hammers against Swansea City.
