Following the conclusion of the UEFA Champions League match-day three on Wednesday night, below are the highest goal scorers chasing the golden boot in the Europe top-flight competition.

Salzburg’s Erling Haaland occupies the number one position on the chart with six goals so far this season, while Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski is second place with five goals.

Mohamed Salah scored a goal in his side’s Champions League 4-1 win over Genk on Wednesday to take his tally to three goals.

Raheem Sterling scored a hat-trick in Manchester City’s 5-1 thrashing of Atalanta on Tuesday night.
